Hugo Lundhaug is Professor of Biblical Reception and Early Christian Literature at the University of Oslo and former PI of the NEWCONT research project on unorthodox texts and monastic manuscript culture. His 2021 radiocarbon dating of Nag Hammadi Codex I and 2015 monograph on monastic origins represent rigorous peer-reviewed scholarship that fundamentally reshaped understanding of the codices' provenance.
